Opening .gml file with collection of geometries

I can't visualize in QGIS the gml file that can be found here https://ckan.open.nrw.de/dataset/8d1aeb86-b515-451f-bc28-55fa6029e0f9 (second row). I think QGIS doesn't support files with collection of geometries, therefore I don't know how to use it. A professor of mine opened it with ArcGIS Pro and he could open it with the interoperability tool. Then he sent me only the polygons layer but the attribute table was corrupted, and many important fields were missing. Now sadly he can't help me anymore. I managed to get ArcGIS Pro but I'm having big trouble to download the data interoperability tool, which seems required to open such as type of dataset.

Could anyone support me in some way?

The possible solutions could be:

• Open the file in QGIS separating polygons from points and lines
• Downloading in someway the data interoperability tool and fixing the problem by myself
• Someone could download, open and end send me the polygons layer with the correct attribute table?

Thank you for raising your query. In order to covert this gml you will need a data interoperability extension (which can be downloaded from MyEsri) and a licence (if you do not have one, you will need to purchase it). If you are still part of an education authority the institution should have an account with us so I would recommend having their authorised caller log a support case on your behalf if you need access to licences/software and this can be looked into further. 

The documentation I have linked below outlines how using the quick import tool can be used in ArcMap without a licence but you still need the data interoperability extension with at the same version as the core software 

Access GML data without a Data Interoperability license

For ArcGIS Pro the workflow is simple, you need to use the quick import and this will convert the gml to a geodatabase (gdb) 

In Pro when using the tool the type of extension you want to select is GML (Geography Markup Language)

Supported Formats

The source of the data is also offered in a WFS format which you can connect to via ArcGIS Pro bypassing the gml workflow. 

1. Take this URL

2. Insert > Connections> Server> WFS Server > Input the URL> Open Catalog pane> Drop down servers and the WFS will be there, if you need the data to be stored locally you can export the data 

3. Add data to map> right click layer in content pane> Data > Export features.
