creating new layers from the existing layer on the basis of fields

Question

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a way to create new layers from the existing layer on the basis of fields.

I have a feature layer of "AdminBnd" having the three fields - 'city', 'village' & 'location'. I want to create three separate layer based on fields. The layer name should be combinations of base layer + field name, for example

Layer1: AdminBndcity

Layer2: AdminBndvillage

Layer3: AdminBndlocation

Sorry, this still is not helpful. It's not clear what is represented in your original data. Does each feature in the original data have a value for each admin field, or do some features only have a village OR city OR location?

What should the new polygon features represent?

It would be really helpful to see at least a sample of the original data table, or a screenshot showing the values in the data.

Or, are you trying to create data from scratch?

Thanks for the response.

As I mentioned above, I want to create new layers from the existing layer on the basis of fields. Scenario is given below.

1) I have a polygon layer having the three fields.

2) Automatically create layers on the basis of layer.

Hope the requirement is clear now. Please let me know if any info is needed.
