Dissolve Tool

Hello! Im trying to remove the rivers that are present within the flooding polygons (see below) using the dissolve tool. So far, Ive not been able to do this. Looking for some help please 🙂

If you are trying to remove river lines that intersect with the polygons, you do not want to use the dissolve tool. You need to use the erase tool.
