how to add the locate button to story map

I understand that sharing a link to my Story Map using an address starting with HTTPS will allow my map readers to utilize the locate button. I don't understand how I control the protocol for sharing a link to my Story Map. Is it as simple as typing in HTTPS instead of HTTP, before sharing, or is it a setting withing the Story Map app?

Yes, all you have to do is make sure the URL starts with https not http. If it is http, just add an "s" after the "p." You should see a green lock in the URL bar if you are using the correct URL. Once you have the app loaded over https, you can share the URL or click any of the share buttons in the app.
