I would like to know if it is supported by Esri to Embed Experience builder app in iframes in external websites.
Hi, can you confirm this bug still exists in Enterprise 11.5 and that no patch has been released to address it?
We just upgraded from 11.3 to 11.5 and an embedded Experience Builder app has begun displaying this behaviour.
We need this to work, it must be patched.

For a released Enterprise version, the fix won't be up-to-dated, unless user requested a hotfix through patch.This fix should be available in Enterprise 12.1, latest Online edition and developer edition 1.19.
Hi @ShengdiZhang @Wei_Ying ,the issue seems to be resolved in ArcGIS Online (see screenshot below).However, it still exists in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, as demonstrated in the 2nd image below with an Experience created with the embedded Experience Builder in ArcGIS enterprise 11.5 and an iFrame on localhost.What is the first Experience Builder version that contains the bugfix? Should be higher than 1.17, because that's the version included in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, according to the release versions list.Or is it not actually a code issue in Experience Builder, but more of a web server setting? If so, would that be something that admins can fix themselves in the ArcGIS Enterprise?
Hi, the export issue should have been fixed in the recent AGOL update. Can you still reproduce it?
We have tried embedding an Experience into an iframe. It breaks the data actions for exporting to CSV JSON and GeoJSON in Edge and Chrome browsers. Still looking for a viable workaround to present the Experience with a custom domain (like you can with Hub).
So far we have not heard performance feedback for embedding ExB app to iFrame. If you have the issue, would you please work with Esri Support to provide a repro case so we can investigate? Thanks a lot.
Jumping in here ... @Wei_Ying you say it is 'applicable' to embed ExB in an iFrame. What does this mean in terms of support and performance? Our app is quite 'heavy' so I'm wondering if it's likely to have speed/responsiveness issues etc? Thanks

I am still having this issue with an ExpB app on the AGOL edition after the June update. I am trying to embed a non-publicly shared ExB into an Enterprise Site (i.e. Hub Basic) using the IFrame card in Enterprise Sites.
To be clear: the ExB app was built on AGOL, the Enterprise Site is deployed on ArcGIS Enterprise.

Hi all,picking this up because I was just made aware of the issue by a customer who needs it.@Wei_Ying: It's actually not so hard to create your own example. Just create a basic experience with a WebMap in it and see how it behaves in an iFrame.I did exactly that and the issue is there: Embedding a protected experience in the iFrame gives me an "Item does not exist or is inaccessible" error.I came up with this workaround: It works for me with a publicly shared Experience that accesses a protected map (screenshots below). This means that the data is still not publicly accessible (assuming the services in the map are also protected), only the outer frame of the application can be loaded. As soon as the application accesses protected resources, it is redirected to the OAuth2 mask, so you basically see nothing of the application without authenticating.

Thanks for sharing your feedbacks. Sounds like some of you have the same issue accessing the ExB app when it is embedded. However, it is difficult for me to tell what's going on without seeing an example. Understand that some of the content cannot be shard publicly, but you may contact me in personal message through community to share the ExB app if possible to help investigate.

I have done this and used the embed code to embed the app in a sharepoint site, but only the app loading bar appears.
The app is not shared publicly. Should this mean that I expect to see a loading bar, or a sign in page? I assumed that I would see a sign in to ArcGIS Online page within the embedded iframe, and by entering my login details I would be able to see the map.
I dont want the map to be shared publicly, but want internal staff members who are using sharepoint (and also have a AGOL login) to be able to view this as well.
Should this work in theory or not? Would it make any difference to create/share the app from a Portal rather than AGOL?

Usually you can simply copy the experience URL and imbed to other app. To get a better iframe code, you can also add a Share widget in ExB experience, and then from the Share widget, you may find "Embed" option where you can customize the size for iframe and then copy the code to use.
