Regression Neighborhood effects, Announcements

Dear all:
I am a graduate student of Political Science, I am finishing my thesis on the impact of the neighborhood on academic indicators in school in the Metropolitan Region in Chile.
I want to know if it is advisable or not to perform a regression.
