Where to store arcgis data store data directories

Hello, Everyone

I am in the middle of installing ArcGIS Enterprise that will support 3D Scenes applications based on point cloud data. My question is where to store data directories (tile cache) of ArcGIS Data Store? given that point cloud will be in TBs. Is it a best practice to store data directories of ArcGIS Data Store on (NAS storage) or it has to be stored on local drive?

Hi MarGIS,

The data store directories must be stored on the local drive.  However, the backup location can be configured on a network drive.
