Publishing web layer failed (AGO)

I'm trying to overwrite a web layer in AGOL from Pro, something I've done many times before but now I've hit a wall. I get the "failed to publish web layer" error and I have no idea why. 

StatusMessage: Staging successful
StatusMessage: Uploading service definition
StatusMessage: Publishing tool initialized
StatusMessage: Publishing web layer (AGO)
StatusMessage: Publishing web layer failed (AGO)
StatusMessage: Publishing tool execution failed
ErrorMessage: Failed to publish web layer

Everything is exactly the same as the last time I did this except I'm using 3.0 instead of 2.8. All the field names line up, and this is a layer I've created in Pro.

Hey @RachelK you might of already solved this issue, I've had a similar problem in the past and found that it was the account I was using,

In my instance, I was an admin trying to overwrite another admins layer, logging in with the other admins account solved the problem, which really should of been the first thing i should of checked but at the time I thought it wouldn't matter as I was also an admin,
