ArcClassic utilized a finger 'tap' method to change point locations when collecting data. FieldMaps utilizes a crosshairs method centered on the map. To change a point location you have to move the basemap to center the crosshairs on your new desired location and then hit "Update Point." This method takes significantly longer to change point location and I am utilizing it in a application where every second matters. It would be great if there were an option to switch the map settings to the 'tap' method instead of the default crosshairs method. FYI QuickCapture does not meet my data collection requirements for this application.
Our users are looking for the same functionality as it is really hard to position map correctly when flying in aircraft.
