An error 1935 is occurred while installing ArcGIS Desktop in Windows 11. I had already installed License Manager and Database Server, but the problem still persists.
While installing ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.2, a message pop up "Error 1935 An error occurred during the installation of assemble component {9BAE13A2-E7AF-D6C3-A01F-C8B3B9A1E18E}, HRRESULT:0x80070005."
our problem was solwed - new laptop had OS Win11 build 23H2, we had to downgradeto Win11 build 22H2, then ArcGIS Desktop could be installed without problems,
ours was also brand new HP laptop with windows 11 but after the first 1935 error all arcgis files remained in C:\program files\ and all registry entries as well. revo uninstall helped remove them all.
thanks a lot for ideas, but I have the new laptop = cleer installation OS Win11, downgrade to win 10 is impossible, so I will connect support... now I can only believe , if has anyone els some other idea, thanks a lot
For me after much troubleshooting with support and their final suggestion being downgrade to windows 10 or reinstall windows 11. I decided to look into the issue further and found that even though the installer said it was reverting changes all of the arc gis files and registry entries were still there so i used revo uninstaller in hunt mode to find and remove everything arcgis related. Tried the install again and it installed just fine.

Not installing in my computer.Config -Windows 11.Net Framework 8.0Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 installed still the same issue occured
I was able to install by running the .msi instead of the setup.exe
I also have the same problem when installing ArcGIS Desktop 10.8.2 on Windows Server 2022 (also with .Net Framework 4.8).
Is there already a solution or workaround for that problem ?
