According to the ArcGIS Dashboard help document, "When source data download is enabled, data can only be downloaded by users who are signed in to an ArcGIS account." We have a public-facing website that customers need the ability to download raw datasets. It's currently designed in Web Appbuilder because that site does not limit how records are downloaded. The site would be more useful as an ArcGIS Dashboard but our customers need to be able to download source tables and they do not want or need ArcGIS Online accounts. Can this limitation be removed?

This restriction to download source data was removed in 2023.
@lmurrayADOTit's great you filed an idea, I wasn't aware that it's an expected (but for me totally unexpected) behaviour...
