ArcMap Custom Add-in Greys out on another machine

Hi,

I have created a custom Add-in Button type on my machine (ArcObjects 10.8 SDK ) and it works fine. When I deployed the same to another machine, it shows up in the ArcMap but when I click the button, it greys out immediately and does nothing. The same case is with Add-in tool as well.

Can any one tell me what could be the issue here.

If your first machine have ArcMap version 10.8.2 & ArcObjects SDK for 10.80.2 then your second machine must have the same version of ArcMap and ArcObjects SDK. AddIn built with 10.8.2 not worked on AcrMap 10.8.1 version.

10.8.1 version AddIn is worked in ArcMap 10.8.2 but  0.8.2 version AddIn is not worked in ArcMap 10.8.1.

Lower version AddIn ----> Worked in Higher Version ArcMap

Higher version AddIn ----> Not Worked in Lower Version ArcMap

Is the second computer set up exactly like the first in terms of ArcMap version and extensions installed, .NET version, required run times, SQL drivers, etc.?  You might also check that your using the same database permissions between the two test environments.
