Hub with custom domain not loading embedded applications

We are using hub sites with custom domains. Sometimes some users can't access embedded (map) applications when accessing the site with custom domain. Site just keeps showing the "loading" animation. When accessing the site with generic hub.arcgis.com domain apps are working just fine. Any ideas?
