Smart Editor widget: update sql table in another server

Hi,

Is there a way for Smart Editor widget to fire a sql stored procedure to update a sql table in another server? I don't need to get anything back from that table. I just need the table to be also updated with the same values users enter using Smart Editor. Thanks in advance for your help.
