Passing URL Parameters to 'Near Me' Widget while not in editing mode

Currently I'm using the Near Me widget to allow users to search for accounts in my web app. To speed up the process I have the Near Me widget open up and begin searching upon opening the app by adding '&find=(account Number)'. The problem is that this only works while the app is in editing mode. As soon as we launch the app I can't find a way to achieve the same thing.
