Generate Points along a Line

I am trying to Generate Points along a line every mile. I run the tool from the toolbox and it runs fine but I am not getting points at equal intervals..

See how some points are far away and some are really close....What gives...Thoughts...

If I try this with a straight line it seems to work

Is the line feature in your screenshot truly one feature, or multiple segments?

What ArcGIS software are you using? ArcMap (version) or Pro (version)?

I'm using Pro 2.7.1 and when I measure the distance between points when using the Generate Points Along Lines tool, they are spot on:

That's just along a line I created by hand to test the tool as I've never had occasion to try it. If you measure between the questionable points while tracing your line what do you get?

Ah Man....I feel like a fool....The line I was using was in multiple segments....I was choosing the incorrect Feature Class when I was running the geoprocessing tool...

All good....geeze
