I'm wondering if there is anyway to manipulate the zoom scale of the search widget in Experience Builder? I've looked into ArcGIS Online Assistant and haven't been able to modify the json to do what I want. Also I've thought about using Developer Edition but I have little to no background in coding. Thanks!

That would require some effort because the search widget is just accepting the default from the ArcGIS JS API. It would be easier to create your own widget for the zoom scale. Here is a good blog about the options from my colleague. https://odoe.net/blog/fun-with-search
