I am running ArcPro. I am curious if there is a way to create a path on a DEM from one point to another? I used lidar to create my DEM. Any ideas?

Ok, I dont think that would work either. there are hills and small canyons between the two. Thanks anyways!
Unless the wagon trail could be delineated using a flow direction/accumulation/streamflow process, I suspect you will have some difficulty coming up with a set of rules to delineate it.
I am attempting to find the shortest distance between the two points. Supposedly where I am looking at there are an old wagon trail that can still be made out and I am not sure where to look. So I figured that they would take the shortest and smoothest path between the two places. Does that make sense?
