It would be nice in API for Python if we could generate list of usernames that have accessed arcgis enterprise web applications and which applications they accessed. It is not easy crawling through IIS logs to get this info. If there is already a better way to do this then I'd love to know. Thank you in advance
Here's a refined version focused entirely on the ArcGIS idea, without referencing Azure: One of the biggest challenges in any mature ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online deployment is maintaining consistent governance as the number of portal items grows. Without a mechanism to enforce metadata and classification standards,…
We could really use something like Partnered collaborations for ArcGIS Enterprise. It could be ArcGIS Enterprise to ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Enterprise to an ArcGIS Online organization. This would save a lot of time sharing data between organizations by being able to add content to a group and add members from other…
In the organization settings page under Collaboration it would be helpful to run a manual sync for specific items in the workspace.
The current way that distributed collaboration works does not scale very well as more data is added to the collaboration and the one hour minimum between workspace syncs is too long for coordinating information during emergency response. * I would like to be able to configure syncs schedules on a per item basis * Reduce…
I am a Geospatial Business Advisor in the Petroleum Industry working with Enterprise Portal in the Azure Cloud. We work with several external companies to provide them access to our portal content. We link our Enterprise portal groups to AD Groups to control group membership and to avoid adding users manually in portal.…
I checked and could not find an ArcGIS Enterprise specific idea on this, only an older ArcGIS Online one from 2017 (still open, 13 kudos) asking for the same thing, so I am posting an Enterprise version here. Right now, if you turn on password expiration for built in accounts, users just get locked out the day it expires,…
ArcGIS Enterprise currently allows administrators to enable or disable the ArcGIS Server Services Directory globally. This is useful for reducing public exposure, but it is too broad for secure enterprise deployments. Many organizations need to keep REST API access available for applications, ArcGIS Pro, Field Maps,…

I have constant issues arising with ArcGIS Enterprise (mostly Server for ArcGIS). How about ESRI focus on resolving the numerous bugs in the software, rather than constantly pushing upgrades? Just like Microsoft was back in the early days.
