In the WAB Search widget, the "hint" text for the locator is getting cut off

There seems to be plenty of room in the input box, but a portion of the locator text gets cut off.

Is this just a matter of changing the style sheets?

This is definitely a css issue. Did you edit any css rules for the search widget in your app?

Strange. Does it fix itself when you resize the browser window?

No. I think you're right about the css though. I didn't change the css for this widget but I have done some tweaking of the css's at a higher level. That has to be the problem.

Tom,

When someone tweaks the search widgets css is the only time I have seen it act the way your screenshot is showing. Can you remember what css rule you changed?

I just changed color for the

.claro.dgrid-header .dgrid-cell in the ...\LaunchpadTheme\styles\default\css\dojo-override.css.

Nothing that should have affected this.

When I use the Inspector in Chrome, the element.style width = 190. When I change it in the Inspector it's fine.
