Curved and extra-wide monitors

Question

Curved and extra-wide monitors seem to the "thing" in my organization (such as a Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Ultrawide Monitor - U3417W) .  Are curved monitors  appropriate for GIS?  What is the general view of one wide monitor vs. dual monitors for efficient GIS work?

I imagine with a very wide monitor I'd still end up resizing Pro/ArcMap to a reasonable width so I could still fit Excel/Word simultaneously. IDK if there's a "right" solution, but I imagine a lot of us have at least these couple applications up and running along with Outlook, but I could be mistaken.
