Drop-down menus in ArcGIS Online Filter template

Although the new filter template in ArcGIS Online is very useful, the functionality to filter using drop-down menus would be more advantageous. The end-user could then filter the map based on the attributes contained. This would allow for the map to be filtered much more quickly and any risk of problems caused by typing errors would be eliminated.

Morning! I was just curious if you ever heard back anything on this? I too am using the filter template and i agree that the drop down would be nice. Thanks so much!

Apparently you can use dropdown menus IF you created a domain for the field AND the feature is published to AGOL via ArcServer. It would be great if it was an option with hosted feature services.
