Edit Tool - Extend and Split Lines

An edit tool that emulates the old ArcInfo command-line "extend" command for coverages. That is, when extending a line, the line that is met is split at the junction point, and each new segment retains the original attributes.

I agree too, nothing has been done that dupes the performance and ease of use of the old workstation extend.
