AutoCAD DXF/DWG extract

Please include a DXF and/or DWG export option accessible via ArcMap export dialog.

 

The extract should be based on what is viewed in the ArcGIS Map Window.

 

The extracted DXF layers should retain the GIS layers in the DXF map.

GIS and CAD teams using ArcGIS Pro in combination with ArcGIS for AutoCAD can carry out the following:

• For CAD layers created using Export to CAD from ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS for AutoCAD allows the CAD team to work with both the geometry and attributes of those layers from within Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Map 3D. Layer types supported in this way include: points, lines, polygons, solids, and annotation.
• For content beyond feature layers exported to CAD, the GIS team can share a map, and then the CAD team can add the map service to their drawings using ArcGIS for AutoCAD.
