@AustinBard1 Unfortunately, this idea has failed to gain traction over time. One thought for that is that our dashboards are typically used to present data (i.e. information at a glance), and dashboard end-users don't often need to 'explore' the map in ad hoc ways that going back to the previous extent is required. What we offer dashboard authors is the ability to configure selectors and actions that (in a way) create more of a 'guided' exploration of the dashboard's content for its intended audience.
Should more people request a previous extent button, we'd be happy to re-open/re-consider this idea.
