Is anyone using Microsoft UI Automation for functional testing?

Question

I have been looking around, and have been trying to find out what development teams & testers are using to validate add ins, or processes in ArcGIS.   I have seen a few comments about Unit testing, and very few about UI Automation.

Can the community share their views on both subjects?

Ok, there hasn't been any activity on this thread.   What about Ranorex?  Or other UI Automation tools.   I have seen a few posts, but most of the results haven't been good.   What are testers & developers experiences?
