What are the recommended solution(s), if any, among the existing shipped and/or custom widgets for the following scenario?
At small scales, a layer has too many features to display, so a different layer with dissolved features is displayed instead. But the configurator wants an identify-like widget to return a pop-up of information on the original, invisible feature that exists where the user has clicked (and preferably highlight its outline).
Has this situation already been discussed elsewhere?
