There is a significant issue with the Hancock County, Ohio and City of Findlay, Ohio tenure estimates. The trade area for the attached reports includes the following areas in Hancock County.
- City of Findlay
- Portage Twp
- Liberty Twp
- Marion Twp
- Cass Twp
- Allen Twp
The 2018 estimates made sense based on local data, but the 2019 show the opposite tenure shift (see attached).
- The gain in homeowners exceeds the actual single-family home construction.
- There has been and continues to be new rental housing development and occupancy levels remain extremely high.
- Findlay is home to Marathon, the largest revenue company in Ohio...continues to grow employment.
I have a lot more data if necessary to correct the 2019 estimates error.
