Does anyone know what the failed login attempt threshold is set for ArcMap? Does ArcMap stop attempting to connect to a database say after 100 failed login attempts?
Mine seems to try 3 times and then give up
Thanks Tiffany! This is helpful, after 3 failed attempts our ID is locked-out of Oracle so I'm wondering if increasing the number of failed login attempts to 4 in Oracle will stop the account from getting locked.
