Did you solve this issue, Mallya? I faced the same problem, while I am sure that the target database is correct, temp files are cleared.
Often closing ArcMap and rebooting the system clears this kind of error up also.
Mark: I get the following error (see attached). I have made sure the target locations are set correctly as you have described. My files are on local drive, and I have also gone through the "Arc Hydro Problem Solvers" thread.
Can you kindly guide me in solving this error.
System Info:
Windows 7, 64 bit
ArcGIS 10.2, ArcHydro for 10.2
Is your output going to a network or a thumb drive? If so, change it to local drive. Also, I've found that creating a whole nw input/output folder and starting the whole process over sometimes clears the gremlins. Try deleting all the contents of your app data temp direcory.
