ESRI Maps Popup Dialog

Question

When I launch Excel 2010 and click on the ESRI Maps tab I receive the following message:

"Functionality such as the following will not be available due to the configuration of your Portal for ArcGIS.

* Share Map
* Share Layer
* Add Excel Data using the Address Location Type
* Select Features by drawing a rectangle
* Find Near Selection

Thanks for the reply Jake.  Portal is federated.

Hi Chris,

I believe you are receiving this error because your Portal is not federated with ArcGIS Server.  See the following link:
