start and end points of a polyline

Hello,

The shapefile I work with is a polyline. I would get start and end points of a polyline (say using VBA). Then, I can get ID, X, and Y information from start and end points. Can someone give me some suggestions on how to get start and end points of a polyline? Thanks a lot!

I think this is what I'm looking for but, what is GP Tool, where can I find the "BOTH_ENDS," and what is FC?You can use "Feature Vertices To Points" GP tool with "BOTH_ENDS" option to create a point FC which only contains polyline start and end points.
