Point statistics - how to display median speed

Hi

In ArcMap 10.2.2, I am trying to display the median speed within 100m2 boxes of ships travelling through a harbour area using point statistics. However when I change Statistics Type from MEAN to MEDIAN, it comes up with an error message. Even if I go ahead and use MEAN, I cannot figure out how to make it display mean speed within each 100m2 box as I don't know what Output cell size to use. If anyone could provide some pointers on these problems I'd really appreciate it, thanks!

As in your other question, you refer to 'boxes'  Point density requirements are specified here 

Point Density—Help | ArcGIS Desktop which requires you specify a cell size equivalent to your 'box' size.  more details can be found here How Point Density works—Help | ArcGIS Desktop
