Dice tool in ArcMap

Hi folks,

Lately I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to processing a large dataset in ArcMap. I've read and following this tipshttps://community.esri.com/thread/107740  which is very useful.

Suddenly this topic leads me to discovery of dice tool. Does anyone ever use it?

I have tried to process my data but doesn't feel any difference, or maybe there are steps that I missed...

Dice tool should not be used in any cases other than those where tools are failing to complete successfully due to the size of features.
