How to split parcel gdb file into grid

Question

I have one large gdb file I need to split into a grid (imported from another shape file).  Is there a way to do this?

If you have an advanced license, you can also use Split... from the analysis toolset... you can create a Fishnet first if you need to create the tiles for splitting as well

If you have an ArcGIS for Desktop Standard or ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced license, you can use the Split Polygons command to split polygons (Parcel) by overlapping features (grid).
