Server Roles: Hosting vs Federated

Good day all,

We have installed and configured an ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 with a server site that includes 2 ArcGIS Servers federated with portal (single machine). When looking at the server site's admin Security>Config page I noticed that the server role is listed as 'HOSTING SERVER'

Shouldn't this be listed as a 'FEDERATED SERVER'? Currently our environment seems to be functioning normally, but was wondering if this will cause problems down the road. Please see below how the federation looks in Portal>Edit Settings>Servers

Please note that we have three data stores installed on one machine that is registered with the server site.

Hi Bill,

This is expected behavior when you have a designated hosting server set for your Portal environment and won't cause any issues down the road.
