Collector app - can I automatically populate coordinates as attributes?

Hey,

Just a quick question - I am new to collector app and was wondering if there was an automated way to bring through the GPS coordinates of the captured location?

I have found a work around that requires me to copy and paste the lat/longs that I can see at the top of my collector app into an attribute field, but I would rather this was automated as there is far too much room for error.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks - long press/right click does the trick for me 🙂

A long press on the map will also show you coordinates and the address of where you pressed, based on the basemap you're using.

When you collect a Point-feature you could se the coordinates in the form-field.

The coordinates is presented in the projection of the Basemap.
