When displaying a salt and peppered raster I get the best results removing them when I choose Layer Properties-Display-Resample During Display Using-MAJORITY FILTER (for discrete data). I have tried inputting parameters, using the spatial analyst-generalization-majority filter, but none match simply those used by default in the display.
Does anyone know the default algorithm being used by ArcGIS when displaying using the majority filter so I can process the raster using the same algorithm?
