Add items to ArcGIS Online

Hi,

I am currently using a trial version of ArcGIS Online. I would like to add an excel, image, PDF to a Map I have created using the ArcGIS Online account. Though I can add them to My Content, I am unable to add those files to any maps or presentation.

Can anyone advise please?

Hi Anand,

ArcGIS Online can store many file types  for the purposes of content management, but can only use some file types in web maps.T here are only specific file types that can be added as layers to web maps. Generally these file types need to contain some type of geographic information.

This help document explains what kinds of layers can be added to web maps.

Story Maps can be a great application to show different file types in a mapping application.
