I look forward to your help in solving my problem. I am working with a Pennsylvania streams layer from DEP. I am trying to develop a script that analyzes poly-lines to determine if a river is curving. When the line reaches a certain angle, I would like to place a point. I am essentially trying to determine sinuosity of streams and pinpoint where the meander of the stream is most defined.
Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to your reply. Please let me know if any more information is needed.
