Edit Widget - layers show in build but not when post to web

I have a list of feature services that display when I am in Flash builder, but not when I post them to the web? I am stuck. I have been working on this for some time. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I have hit success. I am running two cloud instances and on one of the servers there was a < missing from the crossdomain.xml file. Even though the data was not coming from that server, It was giving me fits. thanks once again for all your help.

So same thing can you type (paste) the url (full one) of the feature service in your web browser and get to the REST Service directory for that layer?

Like this: http://yourserver/ArcGIS/rest/services/yourService/FeatureServer/0

I changed the IIS settings to enable anonymous authentication. I see the crossdomain.xml file. I still do not see the feature layers in the widget.

So does your crossdomain.xml file appear in the browser when you enter http://yourServer/crossdomain.xml?

My crossdomain.xml file sits in the inetpub/wwwroot folder. I am not clearly understanding why this may be an issue. Could you elaborate? Please. The web server and the ArcGIS Server are on the same machine.

FYI - just upgrading your application to 2.4 or 2.5 will not change anything in regards to crossdomain issues. The requirements for crossdomain.xml is the same for all Flex applications.

I did see there was an issue with the crossdomain.XML file, but I am not sure why. The cross domain.xml file is written to be open "*"? I will be moving the site to 2.4 soon. I am going to try something and if I cannot figure it out, I will respond back in this post. Thanks.

If you were to use a tool like fiddler than you would likely see that it will be a crossdomain.xml issue. It could be something else but this is the first thing I would suspect. Fiddler is free and pretty easy to figure out.
