Xray Excel Error

Question

I have just installed Xray 10.2 for ArcCatalog.  I have selected a geodatabase .xml file as well as a file geodatabase.  I click the "Export GDB to XML Workspace" button, and I get an error that says:
"Unable to cast COM object of type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.ApplicationClass' to interface type 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Application'.  This operation fail ... (a lot of interface ID stuff)... dut to the following error: Library not registered....  Please ensure you have Microsoft Excel installed."  
I do have Excel 2007 installed.
Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Paul, X-Ray is designed to work with Excel 2007 and higher. You might be able to get it to work with the Office Compatability Pack from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924074 to work with the newer .xlsx formats.

I am also getting this error.  Have Excel 2003 installed.
