Chart maps in arcgis online

Question

Hello!

I've got the arcgis online subscription and i wonder if it is possible to publish a chart map (columns or pie charts instead of colours) 
uploaded from desktop.I uploaded tiles, but when I tried to add them to a new map a window appeared: something like "the layer   cannot be added because its coordinate system or scheme of dividing on sheets cannot be properly set up for synchronizing with the Base map". My layer has the same coordinate system as the Topographic (World_Topo_Map)  base map, which has WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere PCS.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to do...but it seems like you have your own tiled images and you want to display them over the basemap. In addition to the coordinate system, the tiling scheme has to be the same (e.g., the tile dimensions, resolution).

You can see if your layer will even display by checking the box to make your layer the basemap.

Thank you for your reply. When I try to add my tile as a basemap it only displays my polygons with grey background, but those polygons do not not have charts (in my case - columns). I am not so good in tile scheme. What does it mean: the tile dimensions, resolution? I can only say, that my tile has WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere PCS (so World topo map does) and it has the visible range:1:8 000 000  to  1:500 000.
