Making CE Web Scene working locally?

Hello,

I have downloaded the CE Web Viewer application package, unzipped it, renamed the .html file, and in parallel with webviewer folder created another folder named webscene where I copied my .3ws file.

Now I want to view the app in localhost ( a solution may be with IIS) but I`m not quite good at it ( creating the app and etc.) and I need some help.

Could someone help me with some workflow or some steps to do this?

P.S.: I have seen this topic but I couldn`t find it helpful. NEWEST CityEngine WebViewer application package (= offline viewer)

Hello,

you can just open the file ceviewer_offline.html, then you'll get a option to browse to you'r local .3ws file.

This works only with Firefox, I couldn't get this browse option with IE or Chrome and you don't need a local webserver like IIS
