How to set concentric latitudes in North Pole Stereographic projection?

Dear all,

I was wondering if it is possible to georeference a North Pole Stereographic projected TIFF to have the possibility of setting points on the concentric latitudes? It seems as if you only can have a rectangular latitude-longitude-relation. All the time I tried to do georeferencing, ArcGIS created a highly distorted or even invisible transformation of my TIFF beacause of not "accepting" the input of having concentric latitudes.

Before you georeference TIFF. set the projection for data frame.

If you have another Latitude_Of_Center  or Langitude_Of_Center .. etc.

you can change it by double click on the projection and change to what you want.

Then add you TIFF  in Data frame , and input control points for TIFF.

one lift click on the reference point in the TIFF ,then right click and choose Input DMS of Lon and Lat. then enter the coordinate well. and update georeferencing or rectify the TIFF.

you can check your georeferencing by create a data frame grid in layout.
