Parcels Geocoding

Question

I have difficulty geocoding parcel numbers. I used US-Single house locator but it returned 0 match. What can I do?

I recommend you try building the locator using the "General - Single Field" locator style.

This style is more appropriate for Parcel IDs.

Don't geocode the parcel numbers.

Use the Feature to Point function and check to box to do inside.  This will create a centroid for all your parcels in one operation and include all data from the parcel polygons.

You can geocode but it can be a pain.

If you don't have parcel polygons and are trying to geocode using a geocoding service that should not work as the service would have to contain all the parcel numbers as part of its locational data.  And I have not seen that before.
