Arcobjects LocateFeaturesAlongRoute

Question

Hello,

I am an inexperienced gis developer and need your opinions about our routing problem.

We have a NAServer working successfully, but we need an extra feature; We want to show features which is actually an event table along the route within a buffer. We don't want clients to send extra requests.

Should we implement this via Geoprocessing Model, or ArcObjects in SOE  ?
