Bookmark Tool

Did Esri deprecate the Bookmark tool from the Runtime for WPF? It won't be particularly difficult to recreate something similar, but I was just wondering if I might not have to.

As far as I can tell without official response from Esri, it was deprecated. I used the new Bookmark class to create my own, which was easy but still annoying.
