CAD Plans update

Question

Hello,

I was wondering if GIS can automatically update the CAD Plans imported if these plans have had modifications made in autocad? OR do I have to manually upload them again?

CAD files "added" as layers to a Map in ArcMap will Automatically be updated in the map whenever the CADS file changes.  If you have converted the CAD data to a GIS dataset then there would be no connection to the original CAD drawings.
