Call IMaplexOverposter.AddFeatures

Does anyone know how to call IMaplexOverposter.AddFeatures().  No matter what I pass to it I just get: "Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component."

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a sample of code using IMaplexOverposter and IMaplexOverposterProperties to create labels?
